Cholera has struck West Africa once again. With thousands of recorded cases in other countries along the coastal region of the continent, world organizations are urgently trying to stem the tide before more lives are lost.

AFG’s Second Fundraiser is just around the corner. We are thrilled to announce that Guinean Ambassador Blaise Cherif has graciously agreed to attend and will be addressing the audience during the evening. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee will address the audience via teleconference. The evening’s key note speaker will be former presidential candidate Herman Cain.

Dr. Ibrahma Souare, a neurosurgery pioneer in Guinea and member of AFG’s Hydrocephalus Project team, is attending a three month extensive Surgeon Training Program offered by CURE, an international NGO that has revolutionized the treatment of Hydrocephalus.
