Endoscopy Equipment Reaches Guinea

.We are excited to announce that the long awaited endoscopy equipment, which will be used by Dr. Souare and his staff to help children suffering from hydrocephalus, has arrived and is in its permanent home at Kipe Hospital. This great piece of equipment, the first of its kind in a public hospital in Guinea, will allow doctors to perform shuntless procedures to treat hydrocephalus, and is minimally invasive. Dr. Souare has already begun performing surgeries and training his colleagues. Thanks to our partners at CURE, we are now better able to take care of children suffering from hydrocephalus.
