Inauguration of the Condeyah Hospital Water Distribution System

On July 7, 2011, durRunning water in Condeyahing their quarterly visit to Guinea, AFG’s Executive Director Michael Carson, Health Program Director Bebe Sylla Kourouma and Finance and Accounting Manager David Fojtik attended the inauguration of the brand new water distribution system installed by AFG in Condeyah Hospital. The sanitary plumbing was connected to the existing water well making potable water readily available throughout the hospital. Access to clean water is of the utmost importance for the prevention waterborne diseases and the effective treatment of patients, as well as for cooking and cleaning. Dr. Camara, Head of Condeyah Hospital, expressed his gratitude to AFG for financing and installing the water system and his belief that it will greatly enhance the hospital’s ability to care for its patients.
