Plumbing project at Jean Paul II Completed!

Plumbing at Jean Paul IIFollowing the Inauguration of the Fistula Help Center, AFG presented the plumbing work that has been completed within Jean Paul II. This 25 thousand dollar project was done to remodel the plumbing within the hospital and connect it to water well that was finished by AFG in May 2010. The plumbing supplies water to the hospital and also to the fistula guest house.

When AFG first visited Jean Paul II Hospital in the summer of 2007, it did not have running water. Now it has a working water system that supplies potable water within the premises, allowing the medical team to better care for its patients.

Other renovation projects are also in the planning stages. AFG hopes to provide Jean Paul II with the necessary tools and equipment to provide the necessary health care for the people of Guinea.
